Sunday Brunch with Le Sol
Happy Father's Day, my favorite dressing, brunch tip, and the best picnic spot in Paris.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there- especially my own father {Grandpa Dean!!), husband, brother, and father-in-law!
Last weekend, my friends from Le Sol stopped by for brunch and we had the best time!! Le Sol is a travel company and social club based in Dallas, founded by my dear friend, Taylor Madison. Le Sol hosts trips around the world and I’ve been to Big Sur and Marfa with Taylor. Highly recommend her trips and travel guides! The fabulous Le Sol team and travel clients stopped by my place for quiche, champagne, mimosas, pastries, lots of coffee, and a good time. I love hanging out with the Le Sol girlies!
Brunch tip and my favorite vinaigrette. If you’re hosting in the U.S, I love Quiche Lorraine from Whole Foods in the prepared food section and pair it with a simple mixed green salad. Voila! A French salad consists of just lettuce so it’s super easy. Your guests will think you’re so chic! Pair it with my favorite 3 minute vinaigrette from Bon Appetit- 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. And voila!!
My new favorite picnic spot in Paris. Recently, my daughter’s school had a field trip to the Musee des Arts Décoratifs. What a dream! Imagine being 4 years old and visiting an ICONIC design museum next to the Louvre!? I chaperoned the trip and it was magical! Then, we picnicked on the lawn in front of the museum with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Highly recommend this museum + picnic combo and the Le Sol girlies went and loved it too!

Thanks for the vinaigrette recipe! I've been in a vinaigrette rut lately...
